Medical’s second migration list is being updated
The list of the second migration of students admitted to government medical colleges of the country in 2020-21 is being updated again. A list of migrations was sent to the Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET) last week but it is being revised. The second migration will be completed against 114 seats in Government Medical College. And migration will be completed against 6 seats in BDS.
Although the migration information of BDS is correct, it is being corrected again due to incomplete information coming from medical colleges. There have been problems with information from seven to eight medical colleges. Information on vacant seats has been sought from these medical colleges again. Although the list was supposed to be sent on Wednesday, the medical colleges have not sent the list yet. As a result, the list of the second migration is not going to be published this week.
“We sent a list to BUET on Wednesday (February 2nd) afternoon,” said a senior health education official, speaking on condition of anonymity. However, there has been a little bit of a problem. In this regard, a virtual meeting was held with the medical colleges on Tuesday. That meeting was asked to send an updated list by today. The whole migration process is lagging behind because of 7 or 8 medical colleges.
We wanted to publish this list this week. But that is not possible. After sending the list to the medical colleges, it will be sent to BUET. Then the second migration will be completed as soon as possible. Additional Director General of the Department of Health Education (Education) Professor. Abu Yusuf Fakir said, “We have sent the list to BUET to complete the second migration.” The list could be released this week. On April 2 last year, the admission test for the MBBS course in 2020-21 was held simultaneously across the country. A day later, on April 4, the test results were released. This time there were 4,350 seats in government medical colleges of the country.
