Seventh merit list published in JOB
Jagannath University (JU) has published the seventh merit list for admission in four-year term graduation (honors) and BBA first year in 2020-2021. There is still 19.83 percent (about 20 percent) seats vacant. Students got nominated subjects against a total of 543 vacant seats in Science, Humanities, and Commerce units. Registrar Md. A notification signed by Ohiduzzaman said that the admission fee of the seventh merit list has to be submitted through mobile banking by February 3.
Documents can be submitted to the designated department by 4 pm on 5 February and an application to stop automatic migration can be submitted to the Dean’s Office on 8 February. According to the published list of IT Cell, in Science (A Unit) from 4,150 to 4,532 Merit, in Humanities (B Unit) from 1,075 to 1,006 Merit and in Commerce (C Unit) from 1,152 to 1,246 Students have been nominated up to merit.
Jagannath University has a total of 2,065 seats. According to the merit list, there were 433 vacancies in the ‘A’ (Science) unit. Earlier, in the sixth merit list, 3617 to 4150 merit lists were selected for this subject. Besides, there were 124 vacancies in B (Humanities) unit. Students in the merit list from 1551 to 184 got subjects in this unit. As there were 64 vacancies in the ‘C’ (Commerce) unit, the merit list students from 1126 to 1192 were selected for the subject. Unit A has 825 seats in 13 sections and Unit B has 1,260 seats in 16 sections. The ‘C’ unit has 520 seats in four sections. Besides, there are 40 seats in Music, Fine Arts and Drama and 30 seats in Film and Television.
