Comilla University classes begin on May 16. Academic activities at Comilla University are going to start on May 16 after the long 21-day holiday of Holy Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr. Students have already started returning to the university after spending the Eid holidays with their loved ones. The number of students is increasing in different places of the university. Administrative officials are also returning to their workplaces.
This year’s academic activities were also going on during Ramadan to make up for the shortfall caused by the closure of educational activities for a long time during the Corona epidemic. The activities of the academy continued till 21st April (19th Ramadan) and administrative activities till 1st May (29th Ramadan). Academic and administrative holidays will end on 15th May (Sunday) and all the activities of the university will start on 17th May as usual. The residential hall will open from May 14.
Returning to the university after a long Eid holiday, Faria Rimi of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism said that due to the long vacation due to the Corona epidemic, the opening of the varsity after Ramadan for the last two years has not created the impression on campus. Eid-ul-Fitr means a message of peace and joy to me like a white dove. Since it was the first Eid holiday of my varsity life, it was a different kind of love affair and a good time to spend quality time with family and neighbors back from the varsity. Although it felt a little bad to leave this red earth campus and varsity friends. However, there has been a lot of chat with friends in group calls. I came to the campus after the Eid holidays and was fascinated by the new look of the campus. Jarul flowers, Krishnacura, and various kinds of flowers have given a new look to campus life.
