Classes start from March 20 for pre-primary. Classes for pre-primary students of government primary schools will start from March 20. In these schools, classes for first to fifth-grade students of primary level are starting from Wednesday. Earlier on Tuesday night, the Department of Primary Education announced the start date of pre-primary classes. The Department of Primary Education on Tuesday night released the routines of students in grades one to five. According to the department, pre-primary class activities will start from March 20 considering the situation in Corona. For this, the routine will be published in the teacher’s guide.

Government primary schools will have classes for all students in classes I to V from Wednesday. And all primary schools have to conduct classes in two shifts. Classes will be for first and second-class students from 9:15 am to 12:20 pm and for third, fourth, and fifth class students from 12:20 pm to 4:20 pm. Besides, supportive class activities should be conducted in Bengali, English, and Mathematics by identifying the special learning deficit of the students. Earlier, officials from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said that physical classes at the primary level would start from Wednesday. And pre-primary (play, nursery, kg) classes will start two weeks later. But on Tuesday, the department announced the start of pre-primary classes from March 20.
