Classes at Dhaka University begin on May 8. Every year, except for a couple of departments of Dhaka University (DU), all the departments are closed at the beginning of Ramadan. But the campus was open until 24 Ramadan (April 26) to make up for the education deficit caused by Corona. There were examinations, assignments, and presentations in different sections. This time Eid holiday in DU starts on 26th April and will end next Sunday (7th May). Classes will start on May 6. And so the students have started leaving their relatives and returning to the campus without cutting the Eid mood.
Examinations at the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business Education, and Institute of Education and Research were held during Ramadan. Although almost all the departments have completed the examination, it is known that there are labs and vibes left in a couple of departments. The social science faculty exams will be held later this month. That is why most of the departments have completed the semester classes during Ramadan. On the other hand, new semester classes in several departments including linguistics in the Faculty of Arts have also started during Ramadan.
Although the students who returned a couple of days ago are a bit dissatisfied, they are also happy to be back among the friends on campus. They also informed us about the temporary inconvenience as the dining hall was closed. After a long time, I went home on the Eid holidays. Mother, father, brothers, and sisters were having a good time. But I had to return again without cutting the mood of Eid. Because you have to submit the assignment on Sunday. Semester finals from May 19. But the good thing is that I went back to my favorite campus to chat with my friends. ‘
The exams are over in Ramadan, but I came back because I have lab and practicals, and I have to prepare. However, the mood of Eid is still there. Coming back a little earlier, I am able to share the joy of Eid with my friends. All in all, it feels good. However, the canteen of the hall will open on May 7. So having to go out for food.
