40th BCS results next month. The 40th BCS exam has been repeatedly interrupted due to coronavirus. Due to the increase in the incidence of Corona, many times it had to be postponed and started again. But the PSC is trying to finish this BCS in a very short span of time. The PSC had released the 40th BCS notification in August 2018. As many as 4,12,532 candidates had applied for the 40th BCS preliminary examination. Of these, 3,27,000 candidates took the exam. Among them, 20,277 passed the prelims.

A total of 1,903 cadres will be taken in the 40th BCS. It will recruit 200 people in the administration cadre, 72 in the police, 25 in foreign affairs, 24 each, 32 in customs excise, and about 800 in the education cadre. A total of 1,903 cadres will be recruited. Earlier, on January 27 last year, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) released the results of the 40th BCS written examination. In this, 10,964 people passed. The oral exam was scheduled to start on February 16 but was postponed due to the coronavirus.
