The admission syllabus of the three engineering universities will be self-final. The combined admission syllabus for the first year of graduation 2021-22 of the three engineering universities will be finalized in the academic counsels of the respective universities. This decision will be implemented by the Integrated Admissions Committee. At the meeting of the Committee, The Education Minister Dr. A decision will be taken keeping in view the request of Deepu Moni. The admission process of these three engineering universities for the year 2020-21 is almost at the end. Classes for students this year will begin on March 3. On the same day, the admission committee will formally complete all the activities of 2020-21. After that, a new committee will be formed for the year 2021-22.
After the formation of a new committee at the end of this month or early next month, the new committee will sit in the first week to conduct the 2021-22 admission test and related issues. The three universities are Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CHUET), Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET). The new admission committee will implement the decision given by the academic council of the respective universities on these issues. In this regard, Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam told The Daily Campus that no decision has yet been made on this year’s admission test. Last year’s admission process is almost at the end. After completing this, we will hold a meeting to decide on the admission test this year. We will make a decision in view of the request of the Hon’ble Minister in the meeting.
