Comilla University’s first-year classes begin on February 27. According to the government’s decision, in-person classes will start at Comilla University (Kubi) from February 22. And the first-year classes for 2020-21 are scheduled to start from February 27. On Sunday (February 20), the Registrar (Additional Charge) of the University, Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Taher confirmed this.

According to the government’s decision, the in-person class examination will start on February 22 at Comilla University. A notification will be issued in this regard after talking to the Vice-Chancellor. In addition, on the 22nd, letters will be sent to the department’s concerned departments to take the class examination in person. Regarding the commencement of first-year classes, the registrar said, “Our admission process is in the last stage. We can start classes for 2020-21 from the 27th.

Due to the surge in corona infections, the government announced the closure of educational institutions in two phases from January 21 to February 6 and then from February 7 to February 21. According to the government’s decision, on January 20, in an emergency meeting, the university administration kept the hall open and declared the class examination closed in person. Later, following the demands of the students, the examination was continued in person.
