Instructions to prepare for virtual classes: Education Minister
Education Minister Dr. Deepu Mani. However, he also said that there is no plan to take that decision right now. The Education Minister also directed preparation for virtual classes.
Deepu Mani told reporters after a meeting with DCs on the occasion of the dc conference at Osmani Smriti Auditorium in the capital on Tuesday (January 18th).
The Education Minister said, “DCS have been instructed to prepare for virtual classes once educational institutions are closed. One has to rely on assignments where it is not possible to take virtual classes.
The education minister added that so far 85 lakh students between the ages of 12 and 18 have been vaccinated. The decision to vaccinate those younger than this has not yet been taken.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the three-day annual conference of Deputy Commissioners (DCs) through a video conference from Gana Bhavan. Addressing the DCs, he said, “The responsibility has increased as the country is in the hands of developing countries. DCS should keep an eye on the common man not to be harassed to get government services.
