The government has directed to revise the data of students who have got scholarships in PEC, JSC, SSC, HSC, and graduation examinations in merit and general quota. The secondary and higher education department of the Ministry of Education issued the order to all heads of institutions on Monday (January 16).
The order said that the mistake of returning (Bounced Back) information of students who have been awarded scholarships in various categories of PEC, JSC, SSC, HSC, and Graduate (Pass/Honors) examinations should be corrected by January 20.

According to the ministry’s decision, since fy 2019-2020, all types of scholarships in the revenue sector are being sent as student banks through EFT in the G2G system. But the eFT bounce back due to lack of bank information including bank account number, bank and branch name, routing number in the information sent by some educational institutions. As a result, the scholarship money of these students has not been deposited in their bank. The information of these returned students has not been corrected by the institute even after multiple notifications earlier.
In the office order, all the educational institutions in the country, the chief and officer in charge (except madrassas and technical educational institutions), were requested to enter the MIS online software link by January 20 and correct the misinformation of the bounce back, students.
