HSC exams will not be IT exams

HSC exams will not be IT exams. Information and communication technology subjects are not being examined in this year’s HSC. This time the assessment will be done through subject mapping in this paper. Normally, examinations were conducted on 12 subjects (papers) in SSC and 13 subjects (papers) in HSC. Besides, ICT, religion and moral education, Bangladesh and world identity, science and information and communication technology subjects are not being examined in this year’s SSC examination. These papers will also be evaluated through subject mapping. The duration of each test is fixed at 2 hours.

The information was given in an emergency notification signed by Dhaka Education Board Secretary and Acting Chairman Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar on Monday (February 26). The notification was later published on the board’s website on Tuesday (March 1). The probable date of this test has been announced. According to the schedule, the pre-preparation examination for HSC will start on July 14 and the final examination will start on August 22. The Dhaka Board of Education has issued an order in this regard.
