This information has been given in a circular signed by the Chairman (Routine Responsibility) of Dhaka Board of Education, Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar on Monday (February 26). Now the Education Board has made these decisions subject to the approval of the Ministry of Education.
In this year’s SSC, religion and moral education, information and communication technology, Bangladesh and world identity and science subjects will not be examined. The subjects to be examined are Bengali, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Higher Mathematics, Biology, Accounting, Business Enterprise, Finance and Banking, History and World Civilization of Bangladesh, Geography and Environment, Politics and Citizenship, Economy, Home. Science and agricultural education.
From April 13, the registered students will fill out the online form at home. Preparatory tests may begin on May 19. The SSC exams may start from June 19.
Regarding number division, it has been said that in subjects where there is no practical education, there will be an examination of 55 marks (Creative 40, MCQ 15). And in the subjects where there is practical education, 45 marks (Creative 30, MCQ 15) will be taken. And in English 1st and 2nd paper 50 marks will be tested. In all, the test time has been fixed at two hours.
