New initiative to finalize education law
Ten years have already passed since the enactment of the Education Act. Although the draft law has been sent to the cabinet department from time to time, it has been returned. Last year, when the draft was finalized and sent to the cabinet department, it was sent back with some observations. It has already been decided to reconstitute the committee to sort out the observations of the cabinet department and present them to the ministry. After that, the draft law will be finalized and sent again to the cabinet department.

A senior official who attended the meeting said the cabinet department had made several observations. There are a number of laws in the field of education to coordinate with those laws, to check whether there is a conflict with those laws, and to revise the draft if necessary. The Education Act is an umbrella of all relevant laws, including the various laws, rules, and university laws of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and Education. That is why all matters will be coordinated in this law. The Cabinet Division also said that if there is an opportunity to revise the draft in different places, it will be revised.
A senior official who attended the meeting, who did not want to be named, said: As the issue is sensitive, the issue of adding and coordinating the law has been discussed in the meeting. ‘The draft education law, which was finalized last year, says that the government will take necessary steps to improve the quality of education at the Qawmi Madrasa. At this meeting, it was decided to reconstitute the committee.
