Rajshahi University classes begin on May 16. Academic activities of Rajshahi University (RU) will start on May 16 after the holy Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. Professor Pradeep Kumar Pandey, the administrator of the university’s public relations department, confirmed the information at noon on Monday (May 9). Academic activities were supposed to start from the 15th after the weekly Shab-e-Qadr, May Day, and Eid holidays as well as the weekly Friday and Saturday holidays.

However, due to the Buddhist full moon holiday on May 15, academic activities will start on Monday, May 18. On the occasion of Shabe Qadr, May Day, and Eid-ul-Fitr, the academic activities of the university were declared closed from April 24 to May 12. After the holiday, the official activities started on the last 6th of May. The residential halls were opened on the same day.
