The primary school Eid holiday is 19 days. The Eid holidays have been combined with the summer holidays of government primary schools in the country. As a result, the primary schools will be closed for a total of 19 days from June 26 to July 18. Manish Chakma, director of the Department of Primary Education (DPE), confirmed the information on Thursday (April 21). Earlier, an office order was issued in a directive signed by Manish Chakma on Wednesday.

The summer vacation was scheduled for May 18 to 23 on the list of holidays for government primary schools in 2022. In order to facilitate the teachers’ leisure, the summer vacation has been fixed from 26th May to 5th July instead of 16th to 23rd May. The office order further said that direct teaching activities in schools will be closed from June 26 to July 5 for summer vacation and from July 6 to 17 on the occasion of Eid and Asadhi full moon.
