Time to apply to BCS extended

The application deadline for the 44th BCS has been extended. Candidates can apply until March 2. Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) said this in a press release on Thursday. Earlier, the notification for the 44th BCS was released on November 30 last year. It said the deadline for application was January 31.

As many as 1,710 officers will be hired in different cadres of the 44th BCS. Of these, 250 are in the administration cadre, 50 in the police cadre, 10 in the foreign cadre, 14 in the Ansar cadre, 30 in audit and as, 11 each, 8 in cooperatives, 7 in railway transport and commercial, 10 in information, 23 in the post, 6 in commerce, 27 in family planning, 3 in food, 485 in the technical cadre and 776 in the education cadre.
