Medical admission test on April 1. MBBS first-year admission test of government-private medical college will be held on 1st April 2021-22. 1 lakh 43 thousand 630 people have applied for medical admission this year. Which is a record in the history of medical admission tests. Meanwhile, there are 4,350 seats in 36 government medical colleges. Out of these seats, applicants will get 6 seats in the Muktijoddha quota and applicants will get 33 seats in the tribal quota. This time 33 students will fight for admission against the seats. Compared to last year, the number of students has increased by 5 per seat.
The GPA has increased five times compared to other years due to auto pass in 2020 and exams in only three subjects this year. Last year, GPA five in science was 1 lakh 23 thousand 720 people. This year more than 1 lakh 20 thousand students got a GPA of five. The number of medical admissions has also increased due to the opportunity for a second admission. Due to the lack of regular classes and examinations due to corona, the government conducted examinations in six subjects in three subjects in the autopay in 2020 and in the short syllabus in 2021.
The rest of the subjects are numbered by mapping the subject. The admission test will be held in 58 venues of 19 centers across the country this year. The online application process started at 10 am on February 26. Applications are accepted till 12 midnight on 15th March and the fee for the admission test is deposited till 16th March. Admission test tickets can be downloaded from March 26 to March 29.
