The educational institutions covered under the integrated stipend program have been directed to select eligible students for admission in the 6th class in 2022 and in the 11th class in 2021-22. At the same time, the integrated stipend program has directed the entry of selected student information in HSP MIS software. The HSP MIS software has to include the information of the students in the list verification and selection, preparation of the list, and the information of the students through the committee formed at the level of the institution. Student information inclusion will start from March 10 and will continue till April 10.
Students covered by the program must apply to receive the stipend. The application has to be included in the HSP MIS server after verification and selection through the Institutional Committee. Poverty and proxy mean testing will be combined to select students for scholarships through institutional level data verification and selection through specialized software. Only sixth and eleventh grade students can apply for stipends under this program.
However, ninth-grade students who have just passed Class VIII from an educational institution outside the stipend program will be able to apply for the stipend. However, no ninth-grade student will be able to apply for the stipend at his own educational institution. Students will not be considered eligible for stipend if they receive a stipend from any other government source or tuition allowance by the guardian. Students with merit or general scholarship from the Board of Education will also be considered ineligible for stipends. In the case of 10 Upazilas, all the students who have entered the stipend software will be selected for the stipend. These upazilas are Naikhyangchhari in Bandarban, Alikadam, Sadar in Kurigram, Char Rajibpur, Chilmari and Ulipur, Kaharol and Khansama in Dinajpur and Kuliarchar in Kishoreganj.
The concerned Upazila or Thana Secondary Education Officer will monitor the matter by informing the heads of all the educational institutions under his jurisdiction. In case of failure to complete the activities within the stipulated time, the head of the concerned educational institution and the Upazila or Thana Secondary Education Officer will be responsible for any problem.
