Delay in publishing HSC results
Although the results of this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations are scheduled to be released in the first week of February, they may be delayed. It may be delayed due to unfinished fruit production. Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has completed the work of sending numbers from 9 general, madrasa, and technical education boards.
Now the work of creating overall results through software is going on centrally. Fruit production has slowed down due to increased corona infection. This has to be done with half the manpower. Therefore, it will not be possible to complete the fruit-making work in the allotted time. The Ministry of Education will be informed after making the overall result. It then selects three dates from the ministry and sends them to the PM’s office. The results will be released on the day the Prime Minister gives time. However, this process has not started yet.
An official of the Dhaka Board, who did not want to be named, said work on the HSC results was underway on Sunday (January 30) morning. Although the results are expected to be released in the first week of February, it will not be possible. We have a lot of work to do. These tasks will take some time to complete. The HSC and equivalent examinations of this year started from last 2nd December and continued till 30th December. In this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations, 9 general education boards, and madrasa and technical education boards together, the total number of candidates is about 14 lakh. Compared to last time, the number of candidates has increased to 33,901.
