Medical college closed till February 6
According to the government’s decision, medical colleges in the country will also remain closed till February 6, said Professor Dr. AHM Enayet Hossain. This was stated by the DG, Department of Health Education while talking to The Daily Campus on Sunday afternoon (January 23).
He said we will uphold the decision issued by the government. Medical colleges will also remain closed till February 6. Since it is a national principle. And the government has taken this decision to ensure the safety of the people. So we are in solidarity with their decision. Professor Dr. AHM Enayet Hossain also said that even if the education programs in person in medical colleges are stopped, the teaching will not stop completely. Classes can be conducted online. This matter will be decided by its own medical college.
Earlier on Sunday morning, secretary of the department of health education and family welfare, Md. Saiful Hasan Badal told The Daily Campus that the government’s decision should keep educational institutions closed. The same order will continue in the medical college as well. But self-medical colleges will decide on teaching. Accidentally, a notification was issued on Friday morning (January 20) by closing educational institutions from the Cabinet Department.
The notification said all schools, colleges, and equivalent educational institutions will remain closed from January 21 to February 06. Universities will take similar measures in their respective fields.
