school and college Blue light in for two days from tomorrow. All government and private schools and colleges will have to light blue lights for two days from next Friday (April 1) night. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has issued instructions to all government and non-government educational institutions on the occasion of the 15th World Autism Awareness Day on April 2 (Saturday). The department has informed the matter and sent it to all public and private educational institutions and field-level education offices.

All the offices under the Ministry of Education including NTRCA, NCTB, Department of Education Engineering have been directed to light blue lights for three days from Friday. The order was issued on Thursday. April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day. On the occasion of the day, the National Academy for Autism and Neuro-Development Disabilities (NAND) has sent a letter to all the schools and colleges requesting them to take necessary steps to light blue lights for two days from midnight on April 1.

The letter of the department has asked the principals of all government and private colleges, headmasters of government and private schools, all district and Upazila education officers to take necessary steps as per the instructions of NAND’s letter. Meanwhile, according to Nanda’s letter, the ministry’s secondary and higher education department has asked the department of secondary and higher education, education boards, NTRCA, NCTB, education engineering department, and other departments to make arrangements to light blue lights for two days from Friday night. Blue lights will have to be lit for two days from the night of April 1 in all important government buildings and installations including the secretariat.
