Classes of government and private madrasas and technical institutes will also be held in the coming holy month of Ramadan. The Ministry of Education has directed all madrasas and technical education institutes to continue teaching in the classrooms till April 26 to meet the learning deficit of the students. The order was issued by the technical and madrasa education department of the ministry on Tuesday. The order has been sent to the Madrasa Education Department and the Technical Education Department.

Due to the coronavirus, the teaching activities of the students have been affected due to the closure of classes for a long time. In this context, in order to fill the learning deficit of the students, it was requested to continue teaching in the classrooms of the technical and madrasa educational institutions till April 26 in accordance with the proper hygiene rules. The Islamic Foundation has already published the schedule for the holy month of Ramadan. According to the schedule, Ramadan is scheduled to start on April 3. As such, April 26 will be the 24th of Ramadan.

On the occasion of Holy Ramadan, educational institutions at secondary and higher secondary levels were to be closed from April 3 to May 6. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education has directed the secondary schools and higher secondary level educational institutions to continue classes till April 26. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has instructed the government primary schools to continue classes till 20 Ramadan or 22 April.
