The new package will add unused data. The telecom regulator is set to make sweeping changes to mobile data and other packages. This change will reduce the number of offers of operators and customers will get their current package with unused data after-package. According to a new guideline from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), operators will have to reduce the number of existing hundreds of packages to 95.

This decision has been taken to relieve the customers from the net of more packages and complicated conditions. Finding your own convenient package from more packages is often a source of confusion. The BTRC has already instructed the operators to implement the new decision from next March. BTRC Vice-Chairman Subrata Roy Maitra said, “There are numerous packages in the market which are creating confusion. Customers are complaining to the ministry, BTRC’s call center, and during public hearings.
