Class XI physically started

Class XI physically started. Class XI students in 2021-22 have returned to class after overcoming the Corona epidemic. On Wednesday (March 2) morning, students of class XI across the country, including the capital, were seen physically attending classrooms. Through this, about 21 lakh students of the country passed the secondary level and entered the field of higher secondary. The results of SSC and equivalent examinations were published all over the country on December 30 last year. The average pass rate in the exam was 93.56 percent. A total of one lakh 63 thousand 340 students got GPA-5.

Out of a total of 22 lakh 40 thousand 395 candidates in SSC and equivalent, 20 lakh 96 thousand 648 students passed. The online application process for college admission of students who have passed this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations started on January 8. This process continues till January 15. The admission process of the eleventh student was completed between 19th and 24th February.

Meanwhile, after about a month and a half of overcoming the adverse situation of the Corona epidemic, the primary level students returned to the class on Wednesday (March 2). However, the pre-primary school is not opening now as the infection situation is under control. The government will decide to open a pre-primary school subject to monitoring the ongoing Corona situation. Alamgir Muhammad Mansurul Haque, director-general of the Department of Primary Education, said it could take at least two more weeks.

Physical classroom teaching has started in all schools, colleges, and universities of the country on 22nd February. After the identification of coronavirus patients in the country on 7th March 2020, the government declared a general holiday in all the educational institutions on 16th March of that year. Although the educational institution was reopened in September last year after 18 months, the school college was closed again on January 21 last year due to coronavirus infection earlier this year.
