The instructions say

1. For the purpose of the tryout, the activities should be conducted by the subject teachers trained by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).
2. Teachers have to participate in the training organized by NCTB at different times.
3. According to the new curriculum – developed learning-teaching materials (teacher’s guide, textbook, workbook) and training activities should be conducted according to the instruction.
4. The number of students in the designated branch of class VI for the tryout activities cannot be more than 60.
5. For tryout activities, National Curriculum Framework 2021 should be followed on learning hours, weekly holidays, National Day celebrations, out-of-class learning activities, etc.
6. The assessment activities of the students in the prescribed branch of class VI of the selected institution should be completed according to the new syllabus.

According to the directive, from February 1, 51 educational institutes have been selected to conduct tryout or piloting activities for teaching and learning materials developed for sixth class in the light of ‘National Curriculum Outline Pre-Primary to Class XII, 2021’ in secondary level educational institutions.
