The first year undergraduate class of Chittagong University started from 22nd February

Chittagong University’s first-year undergraduate classes in 2020-21 are starting from 22nd February. In the meantime, the admission process of the university is nearing its end. Second Migration and Third Merit List published. The rest of the admission process will be completed continuously. Classes for all the departments will officially start from February 22. Besides, there are 75 seats in Computer Science and Engineering Department, 55 seats in EEE Department, and 50 seats in Soil Science Department. There are 40 seats each in the departments of Biochemistry and Inspiration, Microbiology, Forestry, Geography and Ecology, Institute of Marine Sciences, Oceanography, and Fisheries. There are 35 seats each in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and Environmental Science.

There are 30 seats each in the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy. There are 22 seats in the psychology department6,536 students have passed in the ‘B’ unit. This unit has 1 thousand 221 seats. Among the sections included in Unit B, there are 120 seats each in Philosophy, History, History, and Culture of Islam, Arabic, and Islamic Studies. There are 110 seats each in the Bengali and English sections. The Institute of Education and Research (IER) has 105 seats.

Besides, there are 75 seats in Pali and 60 seats in Sanskrit. There are 50 seats each in the Department of Persian Language and Literature and Bangladesh Studies. The Modern Language Institute has 41 seats. Apart from this, the B-1 sub-unit has 35 seats in drama, 30 seats in music, and 60 seats in fine arts.5 thousand 261 people have passed in the ‘C’ unit.
