Holy Eid-ul-Fitr holiday ends today

The Holy Eid-ul-Fitr holiday ends today. The office reopened on Thursday (May 5) after the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. Eid holidays started last Friday. The holiday ended on Wednesday. Government officials and employees have been able to enjoy six consecutive days off this Eid for two days a week. April 29 and 30 were weekly holidays. May 1 was a May Day holiday. Then May 2, 3, and 4 were Eid public holidays. Meanwhile, bank insurance has opened today.

On this day, transactions will be done in the bank as per the general schedule. The central bank had earlier given instructions on bank transactions. According to the general schedule, transactions will be done in the bank from 10 am to 4 pm. However, the bank will be open for other activities from 10 am to 6 pm. Although the bank insurance and office courts are open today, these institutions will remain closed tomorrow due to weekly holidays on Friday and Saturday.

The last two years have been banned due to the Corona epidemic. Due to these restrictions, many people have not been able to go home to celebrate Eid in the last two years. But this time Corona came under control and Eid was celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country including the main congregation of Eid at the National Edgar. This time, the traditional image of many people leaving the capital by rail, road, and waterway to share the joy of Eid with their loved ones is noticeable. Dhaka became empty as millions of people went to the villages to celebrate Eid. Now people are returning to Dhaka.
