৪৪তম বিসিএসে আবেদন সময় বাড়ছে
৪৪তম বিসিএসে আবেদন সময় বাড়ছে । করোনা ভাইরাস সংক্রমণ ব্যাপক হারে বেড়ে যাওয়ায় ৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি পর্যন্ত শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান বন্ধের ঘোষণা দেওয়া হয়েছে। এতে বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে। পরীক্ষা স্থগিত হওয়ায় অনেক শিক্ষার্থীই ৪৪তম বিসিএসে আবেদন করতে পারবেন না। এ অবস্থায় এই বিসিএসে আবেদনের সময়সীমা বাড়ানোর বিষয়ে চিন্তাভাবনা করছে বাংলাদেশ সরকারি কর্ম কমিশন (বিপিএসসি)।
বিপিএসসি চেয়ারম্যান আরও বলেন, নিশ্চয়ই আমরা পরীক্ষার্থীদের স্বার্থ বিবেচনা করে ইতিবাচক সিদ্ধান্ত নেবো। খুব শিগগির এ বিষয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে। গত বছরের ৩০ নভেম্বর ৪৪তম বিসিএসের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করা হয়। এ বিসিএসের আবেদনের সময়সীমা শেষ হবে আগামী ৩১ জানুয়ারি। মঙ্গলবার বাংলাদেশ সরকারি কর্ম কমিশনের চেয়ারম্যান মো. সোহরাব হোসাইন জানান, ৪৪তম বিসিএসে আবেদনের সময়সীমা বৃদ্ধির জন্য আমরা জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের একটি চিঠি ইউজিসি থেকে পেয়েছি। জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ৪৪তম বিসিএসে আবেদনের সময়সীমা এক মাস বৃদ্ধির প্রস্তাব জানিয়েছে।
Application time for 44th BCS is increasing. Educational institutions have been declared closed till February 8 due to the high incidence of coronavirus infection. As a result, examinations of different universities have been postponed. Many students will not be able to apply for the 44th BCS as the exams have been postponed. In this situation, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) is thinking about extending the application deadline for this BCS. The BPSC chairman further said, “We will definitely make a positive decision considering the interests of the candidates.” A decision in this regard will be announced very soon. The notification of the 44th BCS was published on 30th November last year. The BCS application deadline is January 31. Bangladesh Public Service Commission Chairman on Tuesday. Sohrab Hossain said, “We have received a letter from the UGC of the National University to extend the application deadline for the 44th BCS.” The National University has proposed to extend the application deadline for the 44th BCS by one month.
