Buets admission test will be held in June or July

Burt’s admission test will be held in June or July.Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET) 2021-22 admission test is planned to be held next June or July. The university administration has also started preparations for the admission test. A meeting of BUET’s Academic Council will be held next Saturday (February 19). At that meeting, a new committee will be formed to organize the admission test for 2021-22.

Later this committee will meet and fix all the issues including the date of admission test. The committee’s recommendations will be finalized at a later meeting of the Academic Council. For this, the student database is collected from the concerned education boards. It takes some time to do this. Last time it took about two months to collect this information. Asked about this, BUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Satya Prasad Majumder said, “We need a minimum time for conducting admission test after the release of HSC results.” Admission test may be held next June or July.

We have started some preliminary work to organize the admission test. We have a meeting of the Academic Council next Saturday. A new admission committee will be formed there for the 2021-22 academic year. That committee will fix everything. BUET’s preliminary selection test was held on 20 and 21 October 2020-21 last year. The final examination was held on November 8 with the first six thousand people selected in the preliminary selection. Out of 5,944 students who took part in the written test, 1,960 were initially selected and placed on the waiting list for admission. After verification and selection, 1,215 of these students got admission to BUET.
