The administration has issued a public notice in the Islamic University (EB) as more than half of the seats remained vacant even after admission in the third merit list in three units in the first year of graduation (honors) in 2020-21. Their interviews will be held on February 22 and 23 at the respective unit offices. Once the admission process is completed, the classes can start within the next one week, authorities said. On the first day i.e. 22nd February, the students will be interviewed from 1426 to 2926 in 1855 to 3852 ‘B’ units and 1057 to 2557 in the ‘C’ units. At the end of the first day’s interview, students will be interviewed from 2927 to 4326 in ‘A’ unit 2927 to 4326 in ‘B’ unit and 2558 to 4058 in the ‘C’ unit in February 23, subject to the vacancy of seats. Subject to the vacancy of seats, students from 5351 to 6850 merit in the ‘A’ unit will also be interviewed on February 23.

Apart from this, on February 26, only the interview of the students in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature will be held in the office of the ‘B’ Unit Coordinator from 1426 to 11350 merit. Those who have passed the examination will have to complete the admission process by February 27. At the end of the admission process of the third merit list of the university, 825 candidates were admitted against a total of 2,095 seats in the three units. As a result, 1,270 seats in the university are still vacant. That’s 60.62 percent of the total seats.
