The final merit list of seven colleges is to be released on February 14. The final merit list for the admission of the first year of graduation in 2020-21 of the seven government colleges affiliated to Dhacolleges is to be released on February 1ka University in the capital is not being published today. The Convener of the Admission Committee Of the University’s Central Admission Committee Prof. Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman said on Tuesday afternoon that he will get the list of students enrolled in Kota on February 10. After getting the list of candidates seeking admission in the quota, we will coordinate with the seats of general students and publish the final list on February 14. We were earlier instructed to complete the admission process by February 10.

We were working accordingly. But due to the lack of a quota list, the final list has to be postponed. Even if it is delayed, the time to submit the nomination money for the third phase will not increase. Apart from this, the start of classes from February 23 is also not going to change. The merit list for the third phase of admission to seven colleges is in progress. In this phase, those who received fresh department nominations had to pay the first installment of admission by 3 pm on Tuesday (February 08).

Although the time of publication of the final list has been increased, there will be no chance to pay the first installment after this time. As of Tuesday afternoon, about 21,980 people have paid the first installment. However, the university admissions committee could not give details of how many candidates have deposited money in any unit. There are 6,500 seats in science units of seven government colleges affiliated to DHO, 5,310 in commerce units, and 14,350 in arts and social science units.

The total number of seats in the seven colleges is 26,160. On January 16 (Sunday), the first merit list of seven government colleges in the capital affiliated to Dhaka University (DU) was published in the first year of admission to the first year of graduation in 2020-21. Last year, the admission test of commerce, science faculty of seven colleges was held on November 5, 6, and arts and social science units on November 13.
