Dhaka University from 2022-23 Admission test will be held in four units

Dhaka University from 2022-23 Admission test will be held in four units. From 2022-to 23, students will be admitted to Dhaka University (DU) through four reorganized units. The approval was given at a meeting of the syndicate held at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building of the university on Sunday. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Akhtaruzzaman presided over the meeting. The reorganized units are the Arts, Law, and Social Sciences Unit, Science Unit, Business Education Unit, and Fine Arts Unit. However, in 2021-22, as before, the admission test will be held in these five units ‘A, B, C, D, and F’.

Approval has been given to launch the Professional / Executive Masters program in DU in the light of a policy considering the national demand. In addition, it was decided to implement the obligation of having a Ph.D. / equivalent degree in the appointment and promotion of associate professors and professors from July 1, 2023. The responsibilities and duties of the administration in the overall management of the dormitory hall/hostel for the development of student accommodation facilities, corporate etiquette, human values, discipline, development of creative mindset, etc.
