The fifth and latest merit list of the first year of graduation of 2020-21 of seven government colleges affiliated to Dhaka University will be published on Tuesday (March 22). The first merit list of seven government colleges was published on January 17. Then three more merit lists are published step by step. Even after that, the admission committee decided to publish the fifth merit list as the seats remained vacant.

This is the final and latest merit list. Even then, if a seat is vacant, those seats will be considered vacant. For the last two weeks, I have asked the seven colleges to give the number of seats in which they have been admitted. The final list is being delayed due to a delay in getting the list. The admission test of the seven affiliated government colleges has been held in the year 2020-21 under the faculties of Science, Commerce and Arts and Sociology. Although there was talk of 26,160 seats, the admission test was taken in 23,282 seats.

Admission test of Commerce and Science faculties of seven colleges was held on November 5 and 6 last year and Arts and Social Sciences unit on November 13. The results of Science-Commerce and Arts and Social Sciences Units were published on 11 November and 16 November respectively. Even after the start of the class, a large part of the students could not be admitted even though they were on the merit list. Due to the closure of the merit list, despite the vacancies, they did not get the chance to be admitted.
