Medical admission test in first week of April 2022
It has been decided in principle to conduct the 2021-22 admission test of public-private medical colleges in the country in the first week of April. The department of health education will soon issue a notification stating the final date of the examination. The decision was taken at a meeting on the medical admission test held on Monday (January 17), 2021-22. At the meeting, Secretary, Department of Health Education and Family Welfare, Md. Saiful Islam Badal presided over the meeting.
Among others at the meeting were Prof. A.H.M. Enayet Hossain, Director General, Department of Health Education, Prof. Dr. Abu Yusuf Fakir, Director, Department of Health Education (Medical Education and Manpower Development) Professor Dr. AKM Ahsan Habib was present.
At the end of the meeting, Professor Dr. Abu Yusuf Fakir said a policy decision has been taken to conduct medical admission tests in the first week of April. The directions in this regard will be published very soon. He added that notifications will be issued in a quick time stating how many marks will be filled up, how many GPA marks will be there, number of seats.
In the midst of the Corona epidemic, medical admission tests were conducted simultaneously across the country on April 2 last year in 2020-21. Against 4,350 seats in 37 government medical services, 122,874 people applied to appear for the admission test. More than 116,000 students appeared for the exam. The results were released on April 4, a day after the admission test. It was passed by 48,48,975 people.
