Dhaka University seats decreased
Dhaka University seats decreased. In order to improve the quality of education and create skilled human resources, the university authorities have reduced the number of seats from 2021-to 22 considering the capacity and capability of Dhaka University and national and international needs. In 2021-22, a total of 6035 students of A, B, C, D, and F units will get admission in the 1st year undergraduate (honors) class of Dhaka University. In the previous years, the students got the opportunity to get admission to 6,146 seats. This time 1113 seats have been reduced.
In 2021-22, out of 6035 seats, students will get admission in 1651 units in ‘A’ unit, 16 units in ‘B’ unit, 930 units in ‘C’ unit, 1336 units in ‘D’ unit, and 130 seats in ‘C’ unit for a total of 6035 seats. In the light of the admission qualification given by the university and the result of HSC 2021, this time 2 lakh 11 thousand 60 people in A-unit, 3 lakh 46 thousand 613 people in B-unit, 1 lakh 94 thousand 620 people in C-unit, 5 lakh 6 thousand 526 people in D-unit. 10 lakh 7 thousand 141 people will get the opportunity to apply in John and C-Unit.
Candidates will be able to submit admission test applications and fees online till May 10. Admitted students will be able to pay fees through online debit/credit card, mobile banking, or internet banking, and 4 state-owned banks – Sonali, Agrani, Janata, and Rupali Banks. Admission test tickets can be downloaded from 16th May till 1 hour before the start of the test.
Admission test for C unit of Faculty of Business Studies on Friday 03 June, Admission test for B unit of Faculty of Arts 04 June Saturday, Admission test for A unit of Faculty of Science 10 June Friday, Admission test for D unit of Faculty of Social Sciences 11 June Saturday Admission test (general knowledge) will be held on Friday 18th June. Examinations for A, B, C and D units will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Unit F admission test (general knowledge) will be held from 11 pm.
