Dhaka University MPhil Application admission started on 10th April. Application for admission in the MPhil program at Dhaka University in 2022-2023 is starting on 10th April (Sunday). Interested candidates will have to select a supervisor from among the teachers of the concerned department or institute for admission and will have to apply in the prescribed form for MPhil research under and through the supervisor. According to the CGPA rules, all examinations from secondary or equivalent to undergraduate and postgraduate should have 3.5 out of CGPA 5 or 3 out of CGPA 4.
The application form can be downloaded from the website of Dhaka University (https://du.ac.bd) from April 10 to May 23. The admission form fee of Rs.500 / – should be deposited at Janata Bank TSC branch. The application form should be duly filled and submitted to the office of the Chairman of the concerned department or the director of the institute by 26th May. The application form should be submitted along with the original copy of the fee deposit receipt, a photocopy of all the examination number sheets, and a recent photocopy attested by the concerned superintendent or the chairman of the department, or the director of the institute. In addition, an outline of the research (Synopsis) must be submitted.
Candidates for admission in the MPhil program have a four-year term undergraduate honors and 1-year postgraduate degree or three-year term undergraduate honors and one-year term postgraduate degree or 2-year term undergraduate and two-year term postgraduate degrees and 1-year teacher at postgraduate level 1 year teacher Or there should be 1 research article in a recognized quality journal. Candidates with a 5-year MBBS degree can apply in the department related to their degree.
