The primary teacher recruitment exam is planned to be held in March. The primary school assistant recruitment exam was held up due to corona. A responsible official of the Ministry of Primary Education said that although he had repeatedly prepared to take an examination for the post of primary teacher, it was not possible due to corona. He said he planned to take it by March.

Around 25 lakh applications were received in the last preliminary recruitment exam. This recruitment test is conducted in a few steps. As many as 13,09,461 candidates have applied for 32,577 posts of assistant teachers in government primary schools. Of these, 25,630 will be appointed in pre-primary and 6,947 for vacant posts in primary schools.
