There could be a fourth mass release at the end of March
Enamul Quader Khan, chairman of the Private Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA), said a fourth public notice would be issued by the end of March to recruit teachers for private schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutes. Earlier, a special public notice will be issued in February. He made the remarks at an event organized at the International Mother Tongue Institute on Monday (January 31st). The appointment letters were handed over to the newly recruited teachers on the occasion.
The NTRCA chairman said that if no one recommended in the third public notification joins, a second merit list will be recommended for appointment. Besides, a special public notice will be issued in February for the recruitment of 15,000 more teachers. The fourth public notice will be issued at the end of March. Enamul Quader Khan further said that it was recommended to recruit 54,000 teachers in private educational institutions. Of these, 34,063 people have been given final recommendation letters. There are still more than 15,000 vacancies. Special public notice will be issued to fill these posts.
Meanwhile, an NTRCA source said that the fourth public notice will be delayed for three reasons. Among these is ongoing police verification, updating information of newly nationalized educational institutions, and re-issuing opportunities to candidates who have not sent verification forms. In order to find out the exact number of vacancies, the permanent appointment of the recommended candidates has to be completed. In addition, for those who have not sent the V-roll form, the correct information of the vacancy can be found.
When these works are completed, the work of the fourth mass notification will be started. On March 30 last year, the third public announcement was made for the recruitment of teachers in private educational institutions. It is recommended to appoint 54 thousand 304 people in different posts. However, due to the non-availability of candidates in the women’s quota and non-application, more than 15,000 posts remained vacant.
