HSC student’s list of scholarships will be published soon
HSC students’ list of scholarships will be published soon. The government will provide scholarships to 10,500 students on the basis of HSC results. Of these, 1,125 students will be given merit scholarships and 9,365 students will be given general scholarships. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has distributed board-based quotas to give merit and general scholarships to HSC passers in 2021. Education boards have been asked to publish scholarship gazettes for HSC students soon.
The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has already issued an order allocating scholarship quota to HSC. The department released the order on Tuesday. Nine general education boards have been asked by the Department of Secondary and Higher Education to publish the scholarship gazette by March 31. The boards are expected to publish scholarship gazettes soon.
Scholarship money will be sent to 374 students of the Dhaka Board who have passed HSC in 2021 through scholarship and 2,806 GTP system through EFT. For this, students who have received scholarships must open an account in any of the scheduled banks with online facilities and submit the bank account number and other information to the educational institution within seven days of admission to a higher class. The Department of Education has asked the Board of Education of nine general streams to publish the gazette with the list of students who have received scholarships by March 31.
A general scholarship will be given. Besides, 49 students of Mymensingh Board got scholarships and 575 students got a general scholarship, 205 students of Rajshahi board got scholarships and 1,261 students got a general scholarship, 69 students of Comilla board got scholarships and 990 students got a general scholarships and 30 students of Sylhet board got 5 scholarships. The student will be given a general scholarship.
Besides, 63 students of Barisal Board got merit scholarships and 57 students got general scholarships, 131 students of Jessore board got scholarships and 1,095 students got general scholarships, 6 students of Chittagong board got scholarships and 62 students got general scholarships and 97 students of Dinajpur board got a scholarship and 920 students. A general scholarship will be given. Thus the scholarship quota has been distributed by the Department of Secondary and Higher Education.
