However, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education on Sunday formally informed the departments and agencies about the directive. A program to celebrate the historic 7th of March was formulated at a virtual meeting of the Ministry of Culture last November. The meeting decided to celebrate the day in all educational institutions.
According to the minutes of the meeting, the day will be celebrated with due dignity by ensuring zero risk to the health of students of all educational institutions in the country in line with the national program. In the case of Covid-19, it is necessary to organize a program on the occasion of the day in accordance with the proper hygiene rules. Special care should be taken to ensure that private universities, English medium schools, and madrasas celebrate the day with due dignity.
The Department of Secondary and Higher Education, the Department of Madrasa and Technical Education, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, and the University Grants Commission will issue necessary instructions to all educational institutions in the country.
