There will be no Test exams in SSC and HSC this year

There will be no Test exams in SSC and HSC this year. This year also, the Inter-Education Coordinating Board has decided not to take the selection test before the SSC-equivalent and HSC-equivalent examinations. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Inter-Education Coordination Board on Sunday (February 26) afternoon, a source present at the meeting said. However, if any educational institution wants, it can take the preparatory test.

According to the Dhaka Board of Education, it has been decided to start this year’s SSC-equivalent examination from May 19 and the HSC-equivalent examination from July 18. However, no instructions have been issued in this regard. A meeting of the Inter-Education Coordination Board was called today to finalize it. However, the date of the examination was not finalized at the meeting. Earlier, the educational institutions were directed to complete the SSC and equivalent examinations by April 3.

The SSC exams do not include ICT, religious education and Bangladesh, and world identity. That means these subjects will not be tested. This year there will be a total of 45 marks in each subject in the science department. There will be 30 marks for creative (three questions to be answered) and 15 marks for impersonal. Besides, 55 marks will be taken in the humanities department. There will be 40 marks for creative (four questions to be answered) and 15 marks for impersonal. However, if the first paper of any subject (eg Bengali, English) is of 55 marks then the examination of the second paper will be of 45 marks. There will be a total of 100 marks in two papers.
