Mobile operators will send all messages in Bengali from tomorrow. On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has taken the initiative to send all types of SMSes from mobile operators to customers in Bangla. Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mostafa Jabbar said that from tomorrow, all types of SMS and notifications will have to be sent in Bangla for customers to become mobile operators.

On Sunday (February 20), the Bangladesh telecommunication regulatory commission’s meeting room inaugurated the program to send all types of SMSes to customers in Bengali on the occasion of International Mother Language Day. This information has already been provided by the BTRC. According to the company, it has taken this initiative to make the SMS and notification of the mobile operator easier for all types of customers.
