Instruction in primary school

Due to the closure of government primary schools due to the Covid-19 situation, the Department of Primary Education has given six instructions to the teachers of the respective schools, including conducting online teaching activities on Google Meet, as per the approved annual lesson plan. These instructions were given on Thursday (January 26) to conduct the overall activities of the schools under the Department of Primary Education.

According to the directive, classes will be closed for direct participation till February 8. The annual lesson plan (January-April) for 2022 prepared by the Department of Primary Education, NEP, and NCTB is already being followed in all government primary schools. The instructions are-

1) As the government primary school is closed due to the Covid-19 situation, the teachers of the school concerned will conduct online Google meeting teaching activities as per the approved annual lesson plan.

2) Students should be encouraged to participate in the ‘Learn at Home’ lesson program conducted by Sangsad Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar, and Community Radio through mobile phone and personal communication.

3) In the case of scheduling online classes, it is necessary to fix the schedule of online lessons by excluding the time of broadcasting of ‘Learn at home’ lessons through Sangsad Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar and Community Radio.

4) The headteacher will co-operate with the members of SMC regarding the maintenance and overall security of all the resources of the institution while the direct teaching activities are closed in the educational institution.

5) Regular cleaning activities should be continued in the school.

6) The headteacher will distribute or take all the students in the catchment area of ​​the school to the class teacher and subject teacher. Teachers will keep in touch with the concerned students on mobile phones and in-person to keep abreast of the progress of the students.

It was informed that all the hygiene and other restrictions announced by the government in controlling the Covid-19 infection have been properly followed and instructions have been given to conduct the activities in accordance with these instructions till further orders.
