Applications in the 44th BCS have crossed 3.5 lakh. The number of candidates applying for the 44th BCS has crossed 3.5 lakh. According to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), the application period for the BCS ended on Wednesday. PSC sources said on Sunday that a total of 3,50,716 people have applied for the 44th BCS. The application period for A BCS was extended by a month as the final examination at the national university was not over. The online application for the 44th BCS began on December 30 last year. The last date for the first round of applications was January 31. The PSC later extended it to March 2. In the 44th BCS, 1,710 people will be taken. Of these, the highest number will be taken in the education cadre, 776. The preliminary examination will be held on May 27.
