national universities The minimum GPA for admission will be increased. Most of the students of the country are admitted to different colleges of the country affiliated with the National University. However, unlike other public universities, an admission test is not required to be admitted here. Admission is based on SSC-HSC GPA. Many have questioned the quality of the university as admission is taken only on the basis of GPA without examination. Considering this, the National University is thinking of increasing the minimum GPA for admission in the first year of graduation from the current 2021-22.
Excluding the admission test from 2015-16, undergraduate students are being admitted on the basis of GPA of SSC-HSC examination in different colleges affiliated to the National University. Prior to this, students were selected through an admission test. At present, GPA of 2.50 points in SSC from Humanities is 2.50 points in HSC with 4th subject and GPA of 3.00 points in SSC from Science and Business Education is 2.00 points in HSC. May apply for admission.
This time the GPA system may change. In the 2021-22 academic year, the university is thinking of increasing the minimum GPA point in the application for admission to the 1st year of graduation of the National University. National University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mashiur Rahman said that there will be no admission test in the national university again but there is a thought to increase the minimum GPA required for admission.
