Fourth round of admission in engineering cluster on February 16
The fourth round of admission in the engineering cluster is on February 16. The admission process for the fourth phase will be held on February 18 in three engineering universities of the cluster system. In this, 4601-5100 candidates of Engineering Departments and Urban and Regional Planning Departments of Group ‘A’, 23-26 merit list candidates of ethnic groups of Chittagong Hill Tracts and other districts have been called.
On the same day, the admission process will start from 9:30 am and will continue till 1:00 pm. This information was given in a notification of an admission-related website on Tuesday (February 08). From the published merit list of the candidates who passed the admission test held on 13th November for admission in 1st year / Level-1 (Academic year: 2020-21) in different departments of Kuwait and RUET, students have been admitted in several stages till last 19th January.
As the seats were vacant after the last admission, these meritorious students have been asked to appear before the audit committee for admission on 16th February. These engineering institutes are Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET).
Due to the Corona epidemic, last year CUET, CUET, and RUET jointly took the admission test for their first year of graduation. The admission test was held simultaneously on November 13 at the respective university campuses. A total of 22,610 candidates in Group A and a total of 3,036 candidates in Group B participated in it. Meanwhile, the results of the test were published on November 16.
A total of 14,989 people in Group A and a total of 1,858 people in Group B were published. This time admission test was held against 901 seats of CUET, 1065 seats of CUET, and 1235 seats of RUET for a total of 3201 seats (including architecture). Students go to anyone university and take admission tests. Students who have participated in the university admission test have to go to that university and complete the admission process. However, you can be admitted to any university.
