After the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), a policy decision has been taken to conduct a bunch of admission tests of three engineering and technology universities. The decision was taken at a recent meeting on engineering admissions. Earlier this week, the vice-chancellors of engineering colleges sat in a meeting on the admission test for 2021-22. Although the date of the admission test was not fixed at that meeting, it was decided to conduct the admission test of the engineering group within a week after the completion of the admission test of BUET.

Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sheikh said, considering the convenience of the students, after the admission test of BUET, it was discussed to organize the admission test of the engineering group. It is learned that the opinion of the Vice-Chancellors will be given final approval in the meeting of the Academic Council of their respective universities. A letter was sent from UGC regarding the second time opportunity and short syllabus in the admission test.
