The Inter-Education Coordination Board has applied for the fourth phase to give an opportunity to the students who have not been nominated in the third stage for admission by applying to the preferred college in class XI. In the meantime, the Education Minister, Dr. Deepu Moni approval has been obtained. The issue was also discussed in the Chairman’s Committee. The board will hold a meeting with the Bangladesh Engineering University (BUET) team on the issue on Sunday (February 20) afternoon. The application period will be finalized.

However, the application process may start from February 26, sources said. A total of 15,06,763 students applied for admission to class XI across the country. Out of these, 14 lakh 63 thousand 436 students were selected for admission in the preferred college till the third phase. Despite applying, 43,330 students across the country did not get admission. Out of these, out of 1,300 admission seekers who got GPA-5, 544 are in Dhaka Board.

In this regard, College Inspector of The Inter-Education Coordination Board Professor Abu Taleb Md. Moazzem Hossain said that those who did not get the opportunity to get admission in class XI even after applying will be given the opportunity to apply online in the fourth phase. In the fourth phase, the merit list will be published through online applications and software. So far, 95% of applicants have been admitted.

After that, the application period will be notified. On January 8, the application for online admission of students in higher secondary or class 11 began. The results of admissions were released in the second phase on December 10 and in the third phase on Tuesday.
