In MBSTU, 612 seats are vacant and admission in the first merit list is over

Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology (MBSTU) has admitted 25 percent of the first merit students in the first year of graduation in 2020-21. In other words, only 196 students have been admitted in 5 faculties of the university as against 610 seats in 16 departments and 612 seats are vacant. On Wednesday (February 2) 196 students were admitted to the university professor.

Md. Mahbubul Haque. He said it would take more time to ascertain whether the number of seats in the faculty and departments is full or vacant as the admission process is online. However, he also said that the second merit list for 612 seats may be published on Thursday (February 3). The administration of Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology has decided to stop the physical admission process which will start on 23rd and 24th January of the first year of graduation in 2020-21, including physical examination on 22nd January. Then, according to the first merit list published on 19 January, online admission was taken from 11 am on 30 January 2022 to 11:59 pm on 1 February 2022.
