Details of Jahangirnagar University Admission Application. Last year’s admission test of Jahangirnagar University (JU) was in 10 units but this year’s admission test will be taken in total 5 units of this university. There have also been several changes in this year’s admission test. Let us know the details of the admission test of Jahangirnagar University (JU) in 2021-22.
Application start and end time: Jahangirnagar University (JU) 2021-22 admission application will start next Wednesday (May 16) at 10 am. The admission application will continue till 11:59 pm on June 18.
Probable time of admission test: The first-year admission test will be completed between 31st July and 11th August. The final date and schedule of the admission test will be informed later through notification. Detailed information and seat plans before the exam can be found on the junior-admission.org website.
Eligibility of Application: Students who have passed the Secondary / Equivalent Examination of 2018 and its subsequent years and the Higher Secondary / Equivalent Examination of 2020 and 2021 will be able to apply for the first year of admission to JU. Total GPA including 4th subject of Secondary / Equivalent and Higher Secondary / Equivalent examinations will be calculated. In addition, G.C.E. Students who have passed at least 5 (five) subjects in Level Examination from 2016 to the next year and at least 2 subjects in A-Level Examination in 2020 or 2021 will be able to apply for admission.
The applicant should have at least a B grade in 4 subjects and at least a C grade in 3 subjects out of a total of 6 subjects of Level and A level. Students with the required qualifications can apply to any unit.

GPA in Admission Test: 20 marks have been allotted for GPA obtained in SSC and HSC. In the case of GPA obtained in SSC, 8.5 marks have been allotted and in the case of HSC, 12.5 marks have been allotted. Application Fee: The admission test will be held in five units in JU this time. The application fee for Jabir A, B, C, and E units has been fixed at Tk 900 and for the D unit at Tk 800. Which has increased over the years. Admission test syllabus: This year’s admission test will be according to the rearranged syllabus of HSC. The admission test will be held in light of a re-arranged syllabus for HSC 2021 candidates.

A Unit (Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and Institute of Information Technology): Bangla 3, English 3, Mathematics 22, Physics 22, Chemistry 22, and ICT 6.
B Unit (Faculty of Sociology and Faculty of Law): Bangla 25, English 25, General Mathematics 05, and General Knowledge, Recent Subjects, and IQ 25 marks.
C Unit (Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Bangabandhu Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture): Bengali 15, English 15, and other subjects related to general knowledge and department 50 marks.
D Unit (Faculty of Biology): Bengali and English 8, Chemistry 24, Botany 22, Zoology 22, and Intelligence 4.
E Unit (Faculty of Business Studies and Institute of Business Administration (IBA-JU): Bengali 10, English 30, Mathematics 25, and Contemporary Business Matters 15.
Required Instructions: Write a Bengali and an English sentence as per the instructions in the space provided below the OMR sheet (answer sheet). The English version and A Level / O Level applicants’ question papers will be in English and will be held at the time and place fixed by their examination unit. If students with disabilities need special assistance to take the test, consent must be obtained by applying on a white paper along with the concerned unit head.
